You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining partnerships, securing funding, and providing strategic guidance to ensure the sustainable development of our communities

Business Services Officer

We are currently looking to hire professionals to join our team as Business Services Officers.

As a Business Services Officer, you will be a point of contact and business support for entrepreneurs. You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks providing quality delivery and administration of NEDC programs.

Internships & Co-ops

We are always looking to provide mentorship through Internship and Co-op opportunities. As an Intern at NEDC, you will gain experience of economic development through the provision of business services & financing to Indigenous entrepreneurs. You'll work closely with our Business Development Officers and Indigenous entrepreneurs representing NEDC programs & assisting in the coordination of communications, marketing, workshops, and events.

Scholarships

Through the George Watts Scholarship Fund, we offer a limited number of scholarships annually to full-time students enrolled in post-secondary business programs including applicable certificate, diploma, and degree programs. Eligible candidates will be of NCN ancestry & have at least a 3.0 GPA.
